I have worked as a therapist for over 20 years and provide confidential counseling to individuals, couples, and families. I am a general practitioner with experience treating a broad variety of issues ranging from depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, relationship problems, premarital counseling, eating disorders, grief, parenting issues and others.
My theoretical approach to treating each person depends on the issue and your preference. I utilize person-centered and psychodynamic principles as well as cognitive-behavioral techniques. It is my goal to understand your concerns as well as your goals for counseling and to work collaboratively with you to achieve desired changes and insights.
I have a Christian faith background and am actively involved in my local church. I am happy to incorporate Christian and religious aspects into our work where appropriate. Therapy appointments can be held in English or German.
