Eilis Quinn
Clinical Intern
Accepting New Clients
Hanover, Telehealth
Eilis is a graduate student at Antioch University studying Dance/Movement Therapy and Couples and Family Therapy. She is excited to join PCSSS as a clinical intern. She has enjoyed integrating creativity into her developing approach to psychotherapy and looks forward to seeing clients with compassion and care. Dance/Movement therapy emphasizes the mind, the body, and the spirit and Eilis seeks to begin her talk therapy internship with this in mind. She is looking forward to enhancing client strengths and using collaborative and solutions-focused approaches. She also seeks to use somatic-based techniques and mindfulness in her work. She is excited to begin her clinical experience and has a particular interest in working with those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief, and families experiencing relationship issues and life transitions.Â
Â
Before her graduate studies, Eilis completed a Bachelor’s degree in musical theater from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City and was a professional performer. She has performed around the country and enjoys the connection to self and others that dance and drama provide. She has experience as a dance educator and loves the community and connection found in movement groups.Â
